Frequently Asked Questions

What is the capacity for the space?

Our Maximum guest count for a sit-down event is 25. However, if you're doing a cocktail style event where guest will grab a drink and mingle, we accommodate around 30 guest.

How long is my rental?

We base our rentals on a 5-hour minimum including set-up and clean up. If schedule allows, we are happy to offer additional time at an hourly rate.

Is there parking?

There is ample street parking right in front of the studio. Weekdays after 5pm and on weekends street parking and 146 Armsby Parking lot (next to the studio) is free.

Is your venue child friendly / pet friendly

We are an adult curated space and are not childproof (i.e. we have sharp edges and delicate furniture) Invite kids at your own discretion.


Though we love pets they are not permitted.

Can I use my own caterers/vendors?

Yes! You are welcome to utilize your own vendors, restaurants, or bakeries. We do have a list of vendors we love and trust and are more than happy to share recommendations.

What does my rental include?

In addition to the space rental, included with your fee are; tables/chairs for up to 25 guests, three choices of linen color, Bluetooth speaker, Wi-Fi, onsite bathroom, mini fridge, barstools, couches and shelf.

We also have 2 full bar areas that are ready to use for bartenders, private chefs or buffets.

What type of cleanup is expected?

We ask that you leave the space how you found it. All food items and any items brought in must be removed by the end of the event. Trash should be bagged and placed by side door. We charge a cleaning fee that covers cleaning the floors and all surfaces (and the trash bags, paper towels you'll have available to use).

Can I use the space for workshops / teach a class?

Absolutely! We love creatives and love seeing other businesses shine at HOA. We can chat further about hour accommodations for workshops.

Do I need to bring in Furniture? Glassware, etc.?

We offer a tablescape service at an additional fee that includes design (we work on together), disposable plates, cups, napkins and silverware for each guest. This service is optional! But we don’t provide it otherwise.

But you can bring in your own glassware, utensils, etc.

Can you help me plan my event?

Yes! We offer a partial planning service and would love to help you make your vision come to life.

How does my rental work?

Haus of Art Studio is meant to be as hands off as you would like it! We will greet you upon arrival and give you clear directions regarding the space and departure. We are available by phone/text throughout your event, and also offer coordination services at an hourly rate if you'd like our assistance at your event.


We will make sure everything is perfect prior to your arrival and will communicate prior to ensure you are fully happy with set up.
